Someone in the vive subreddit mentioned that interleaved reprojection is now enabled by default, so even if you disable motion smoothing, you’ll still have issues since reprojection is going to try. Usually Rift users want to go the other way, to make sure it runs in Oculus mode and not SteamVR mode (for optimal performance and compatibility). The warping and distortion effect is still there with playspace mover, even with motion smoothing off. Locomotion animations can be disabled in Av3.0 avatars during the avatar creation process (most easily for full body users. or if you search on the Steam forums you might find a launch option like '-vrmode openvr'. Normal locomotion animations will act on your root position, causing the funny 'walking with arms above the head' on the ground if youve playspace moved as it moves your avatar back to its root position for the animation. Software (please complete the following information): Oculus Rift S wont work with SteamVR playspace mover. Playspace mover doesn't work unless you grab one of the points specifically Does this affect Playspace Mover, OpenVR Advanced Settings, or overlays like OVR Toolkit and XSOverlay No Playspace Mover, OVRAS, OVR Toolkit, and XSOverlay are not considered modifications These applications are their own programs, and load in via SteamVR. ![]()
